How to Play Imposter.

What is Imposter?

Imposter is a fast-paced football trivia game where your goal is to find the odd one out. You’ll be presented with a group of four football players based on a specific characteristic, but beware—one of them is the “imposter”. Your objective is to spot and eliminate the imposter as quickly and accurately as possible!

Game Objective

Your mission is to successfully identify the imposter in 5 rounds of increasing difficulty. Each round will challenge your knowledge of teammates, nationalities, and shared football history.

How to Play

Step 1: Analyze the Criteria

At the top of the screen, you will see the unifying criteria for the round. This could be something like:

• “Players who played for Real Madrid”
• “Players from Argentina”
• “Players who won the World Cup”

Step 2: Evaluate the Players

You will see four player cards. Three of these players fit the criteria perfectly. One does not. Use your football knowledge to determine who the imposter is.

Step 3: Make Your Choice

Once you are confident, tap on the card of the player you believe is the imposter to eliminate them. Look out for the visual confirmation!

• Correct Guess: The imposter is revealed, and you move to the next round!
• Incorrect Guess: You lose a try, and the round continues.

Tracking Your Stats

The game tracks your overall accuracy across the rounds. Be precise and quick to score the highest accuracy percentage. Remember, you need at least 5 correct guesses to win the game!

Tips for Success

1. Read carefully – Ensure you fully understand the criteria before making a quick guess.
2. Double check loan spells – Sometimes a player might be correctly grouped because of a short loan spell you forgot about.
3. Age reveals a lot – If three players are from the same generation, the youngest or oldest might be the imposter depending on the criteria.
