What is Swipe?

Swipe is an addictive card-based football trivia game that tests your knowledge of player statistics and facts. The concept is simple but engaging: you’re presented with football player cards and must quickly decide whether they meet a specific criterion by swiping right for “YES” or left for “NO”.

Game Objective

Your mission is to correctly answer 20 questions about football players. Each round focuses on a single criterion, such as player height, market value, age, goals scored, or trophies won. The faster you answer correctly, the better!

How to Play

Step 1: Understand the Question

At the top of the screen, you’ll see the current question or criterion. This could be something like:

• “Taller than 1.80m?”
• “Market value over €50M?”
• “Has this player won the Champions League?”

Step 2: Evaluate the Player Card

A player card will appear in the center of your screen, displaying the footballer’s photo, name, club badge, and nationality flag. Use your football knowledge to determine if this player meets the stated criterion.

Step 3: Make Your Decision

You have two ways to answer:

Swipe the Card:

• Swipe RIGHT (or tap the green checkmark) if the player meets the criterion

• Swipe LEFT (or tap the red X) if the player does NOT meet the criterion

Keyboard Controls: You can also use the arrow keys on desktop:

• Right Arrow → YES
• Left Arrow → NO

Step 4: Track Your Progress

The progress bar at the top shows how many correct answers you’ve achieved out of 20. Keep an eye on your accuracy percentage to maintain your winning streak!

What Happens When You Make a Mistake?

If you answer incorrectly:

• The card will show a red X animation
• The card returns to the deck, giving you another chance to answer correctly
• Your mistake count increases

Don’t worry about occasional errors – the game allows you to make mistakes while still reaching the target of 20 correct answers.

Tips for Success

1. Trust your instincts – If you follow football regularly, your first guess is often correct
2. Consider the obvious – For height questions, goalkeepers and defenders are often taller
3. Think about trophies – Players from historically successful clubs (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern) have more titles
4. Remember recent transfers – Market values change rapidly in modern football
5. Age is relative – Young stars like Mbappé might have more goals than older players from smaller leagues

• Number of mistakes
