What is Football Draft XI?
Football Draft XI is a daily squad-building challenge where you create a full starting XI from real players.
Your goal is to complete every position and finish with the highest possible total market value.

How it works
- A club badge appears each round.
- You must name a valid player from that club.
- If the player is accepted, you place them in a position they can play.
- Repeat until all 11 slots are filled.
Step 1: Read the club prompt
At the start of each pick, the game shows one club.
Use that badge as your search constraint: your answer must be a player from that club.
Step 2: Find and assign a player
Search for a player and select them.
- If valid, assign them to one available position in your formation.
- If the player is multi-position, choose the slot that helps your team most.
- Once confirmed, that player fills the slot and contributes to your total value.

Step 3: Complete all 11 positions
Keep drafting until every role in your formation is filled.
When your XI is complete, the run ends and your final team value is calculated.
Core rules
- You can only use players that match the club shown in each round.
- You can only pick one player per club prompt.
- A player can only be used once in your XI.
- You must respect position eligibility when placing players.
- The match ends when all 11 positions are filled (or when no more valid picks are available, if applicable).
Scoring
Your score is your XI’s total market value.
In simple terms:
- Pick high-value players whenever possible.
- Use flexible players to protect valuable positions for later rounds.
- Avoid wasting a top player in a slot where you could place a cheaper option.
Tips & strategy
- Plan the spine first: central roles (CB, CM, ST) are often the hardest to optimize late.
- Save flexibility: multi-position players are strongest when used as late adjustments.
- Think in opportunity cost: choosing one role now blocks alternatives later.
- Balance floor and ceiling: secure strong value early, then hunt upgrades in open slots.
- Finish cleanly: avoid ending with one difficult position and no fitting options left.
Winning & results
- You “win” by completing all 11 positions with a legal lineup.
- Your performance is measured by total squad value.
After finishing, you can review your lineup and compare your score in your stats.
FAQ
What if a player can play in multiple positions?
You can place them in any currently available eligible slot.
Can I move players after placing them?
If the game mode allows position editing, you can adjust before finalizing. Otherwise, each placement is locked.
Why is my score lower than expected?
A single low-value pick in a key slot can significantly reduce total value. Position planning matters as much as individual player quality.
